Weird Engine Vibration Above 2,000RPM

Hey guys,

I have a 2003 Evo that just picked up a weird engine noise/vibration. I can hear/feel it above 2k. It doesn't sound piston or crank related to me. The only thing I have found that is similar was related to the balance shaft. I had my timing belt service done about 40k ago with no issues. My car currently has 115,000 miles with just bolt ons.

Here is my car:

Here is the balance shaft issue I found:

Any ideas?

Well, the noise is the same as in the example video. I'd say it is time to pull the timing cover for a look-see. You don't want that b-belt coming off.

From what I've been reading it sounds like its the belt or a balance shaft bearing failure. Hopefully in the next few days I can get a chance to look at it.
