600hp clutch
Is Weekend driver, usually semi hard driven. Always ethanol and healthy amount of boost. Just want to make sure competition clutch good brand and can be relied on as I am in nz and looking to buy out of america.
We should have our order of Competition twins in stock shortly, or I can easily make another recommendation! Exedy twins are very nice as well and I have an awesome price on them! Feel free to shoot me a PM with any questions!

They (Competition) recently redesigned their twin.....I have a friend about to run it. I have QM. Its a bit of a PITA to daily drive but it holds the power when needed. Its got about 15kish miles on it.
I am with Mike from MAP,
For the money the Exedy twin disc HD is an amazing clutch and will do everything you want it to plus some! The Exedy will help disapate heat better than some of the other clutches out there as well which is a nessecary requirement.
Good engagment, easy to drive Just an all around bad A$$ clutch to own.
Best Regards,
steve

HP has nothing to do with what the clutch can bear. If you made 1000whp and 200 torque you could get away with a single disc, lol. What you want a really streetable clutch that can handle 350-400 torque I would recommend ACT HD street clutch. I used it for a while great clutch, now if you wanna make around 500 torque and above your gonna want to look at a quartmaster 8 leg or exedy triple. I have a quartermaster race flywheel 8 leg. Its not the most street friendly clutch but it will hold the torque
I've run a ACT 6 puck in my car for ages, and it held up fine to some fairly brutal driving - changed it when I destroyed a gearbox. The clutch plate was fine however, and is holding up fine in a friends 400kw 10 second Evo 4.
I've got a Competition Clutch Stage IV in mine at the moment, and while it's nowhere near 600hp (I'm running ~220ish kw atw)it's holding up pretty sweet. Takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do it's not really a big deal unless you're in a LOT of stop go traffic (by Auckland standards, you'll be fine in Canterbury haha). Or if you have to do multiple hill starts in a row or something.
If you want a local(ish) option you could try talking to Autoclutch up in Auckland - they can build you a clutch to your spec, I know a few people running their products with good success.

Just be aware that some people have had issues with shipping times with them, so if you need it asap might be better to go via an US vendor that has the product in stock. He's a good dude though, and generally pretty competitive price wise.
