Arrow Good RELIABLE clutch good to 600hp d/d

So looks like my Exedy triple disc is taking a crap after 5k miles, car is making at least 500hp, I want to get a clutch for at least 600+ so I have room to grow to a better setup.

What clutch is good for over 600hp/tq and RELIABLE enough for a daily driver? I drove over 100 miles a day but don't drop the clutch or anything. I'm thinking about some kind of twin disk but not sure what brand or type I heard alot of disengagement issues with the exedy twins (same issue I have) so I don't want to go through this issue again.

I did search and theres so many mixed reviews it's hard to pick and I don't want to drop $2k on a clutch if I can get something as good for alot cheaper.

I honestly don't know why I'm having problems with it, it's not disengaging FULLY, I literally have to jam it into gear, seems like one of the 3 plates is sticking or something. It could be an installation error by not torquing everything properly or maybe it was a clutch problem either way I need another one and I don't feel like messing with a rebuild kit since I don't know what on mine was the problem and what all even comes in a rebuild kit.

I'm doing alot of searching and the Competition version 2 (or any vers for that matters sounds good) but won't decide till I'm done searching all the different brands

Sounds like you had an installation problem or the springs on your floater plates tabs snapped off which can cause the disengagement issues... I'm at 500whp with an Exedy Twin HD and I don't have problems now but on my first clutch, same one, I had that type of issue and the tabs on the floater plate were broken.... 5k might also be good for a warranty to cover it as well.

You shouldn't shy away from Exedy, its a great clutch but to each his own

Exedy Tripple HD push style is where you need to be never heard that cluth going out. I've had them all and none of them held up to my 600ish pump gas evo. Tilton Carbon, Rally both of them "GARBAGE" , OS, ect XXXX.

I drive my EVO daily on the AMS/Exedy push style conversion HD twin at over a 700WHP setting "42psi" Of course i do not launch on this clutch and run regular radials so i get A LOT of wheel spin to say the least which helps my clutch live at this power level The triple will hold more then a twin of course but its got a more harsh engagement and more noise etc.

I have a triple now and it's not bad once you get used to it, sure could be alot worse. I'll email Exedy about the problem but I doubt hearing anything about a warranty or anything, and I don't know whats wrong with it yet

I have an RPS twin plate carbon. It's pricey but I absolutely love it, and definetly don't see it going out with 600whp.

Quarter master twin disc is holding my 730 hp Evo for the past year. Has had over 25 track passes down the quarter and numerous street miles and a hell of alot of
Launches. QM is my choice all the way.

My. Quarter master 8 leg has been going strong for awhile but I'm thinking about getting something quieter, when I pull in to a car show or show the car to customers they all think my car is falling apart because of all the noise it makes.
