What would you pay for an evo IV in the US?
Hey guys, I have the chance to trade my evo 8 for an evo 4 from Canada. The guy has a Canadian title for it(not Japanese) which means I has 17 digits like in the states. Anyway getting it registered shouldn't be that much of an issue as long as you are dealing with the right people, because there are r33's, evo6's, and evo7's and all types of rhd cars legitimately registered around me.
My whole point of this tread is the dilemma I am currently facing, how much would someone pay for a legit JDM evo iv in the states? I ask this because come time I want to sell I don't want to be stuck with the car because there may be a very small market for these rhd cars.

5-6k for a clean one, even then I still wouldn't want one stateside. I had a IV while in Japan, liked it alot. I like my 03 more though. If I'd get another jdm model evo it'd be a V or a VI, much better car overall.
Prob not much evo IV's look the nicest but are horrible cars esp if your tradnig a evo 8 for it. ( Coming from a man who has driven many many JDM evo's) Get a evo 6 if your after something different and JDM

these people saying 6-8k are dreamers and dont know what they are talking about. iv is hard to find in the states, you cant pick-up early evo (1-3) for that. they sell for 10k in bad condition. I own an evo super clean evo iv. been offered 20k twice. that price doesnt tempt me. bone stock one sold for 16k last year down in miami. I bought mine for 9k but it needed lots of work to be nice. havent actually seen any others for sale in the us in the last four years. they are 2k for beater in japan. but all the fees to get one here and you will have 12k in the same car.

^^^^^ Couldn't have said it any better.
Find me a IV that looks like this for $6k and I will be there in a hot second. I would rather own an early evolution RHD than owning a newer one. They are rare to see and the cool factor will always be there regardless.
I have driven both of the cars above and excitement you get from driving these two cars far surpass any other evolution I have driven and I have driven some badass high horsepower one.

To each its own.Op asked how much would you pay for iv in us.it all depends on how deep are your pockets.I do like early evos and without disrespect to the owners its not my soft spot that's why I would pay 8K.its like some modified evo viii owners think their evo worth 32K.
How are the iv's bad? do you have any points to back it up with?

Do you think its worth it? how are the 4's?
Cool cars but they've definitely lost the wow factor since there are so many here.
