Identifying parts for part out.

Hey everyone I currently am parting out a built 9 4G64 motor...I know what all the bolt ons are due to the logo's...But I planned to sell the head as one unit and bottom as another... How could I identify some of these parts so I can price them properly??? I know its kind of difficult not knowing whats in it but still need to part it out regardless...so any input would be a huge help. Thanks!!!

Find out who built the motor and ask them for the build sheet.

If this is not an option don't expect more than junkyard motor pricing for the engine

I think that would be very difficult to get. No other way to do this?

You might be able to get away with minimal disassembly on some parts such as cams, just remove the valve cover. Hope you don't have to take it completely apart!
Also, if you manage to get a peek on the brands without taking it completely apart, you might consider pictures to prove it.

Well I planned to pull the valve cover and take pictures regardless...and possibly pull the head and sell them as 2 separate pieces. I mean the motor is immaculate and cranks but I have no need for it now and dont want to let it go to waste.

Also I have reason to believe its completely built it was a 650 WHP motor before I started parting it. Possibly being bored and stroked as well..like I said im not sure exactly whats going on inside the motor.

I'll be keeping an eye out out for a part out thread. I may be interested on some of it. We'll see.

Okay itll be soon, I'm sending the turbo out to precision to get looked over before I put it up...its pretty much anything that bolts on the motor and anything inside it. I dont plan on keeping any of the parts.
