The Dream is Real
So I have been looking and asking opinions for a while. My personal searching has been going on for about a year with an intense search the past month or two. Found the one for me, worked out a deal and the wife and I hopped on a plane, flew to Chicago. Bought it and proceeded to to drive home. What a ride!!!!! Our trip home was 996 miles, and we loved every single mile, the entire trip was awesome.
The seats are so comfortable never got fatigued like I have in other cars on long journeys.
Thanks for all the help and advice.
What I got was a 2006
Evo IX SE. Had 54k miles on it. Mods are MBC, 3 inch exhaust, cone air filter, and a weighted shifter ball. The Mudflaps too.

I had them send me a lot of undercarriage pictures, thinking that being a northern car it would be real rusty. It actually looks better underneath than the cars I have seen down here. Almost rust free.

Congratulations Sir! That is a very clean Evo SE. I would stay away from the boost controller until you can get your hands on a boost gauge. Who knows what psi it's set at now. Stock boost should be 18psi. You definitely put in the work and research for this one!
