Hey guys,

I have a full 3" Vishnu exhaust with Taipan XP muffler.

I removed the cat and replaced it with a Vibrant ultra quiet resonator, but the highway drone from 3000-4000 rpm in 5th is to much for me.

How much quieter would it be to switch the Taipan muffler for a 5x8x14 oval Magnaflow muffler?

I also had a crazy thought of welding together two Magnaflow 6"x14 round mufflers, though I'm not sure it would fit with my JDM bumper.

Needs to support 400whp

Any 3" exhaust should support 400whp. The first magnaflow idea might work. I run a Perrin stealth and it's pretty quiet.

 

Idk dude I have a full 3 inch exhaust and a magna flow muffler it's still loud.

 

Ordered the Tanabe Medallion CBE, here's hoping it's quieter than the Taipan XP at 75-80mph.
