Can anyone help me find an evo?

Alright I feel like this would be a long shot, but I thought I'd give it a try anyways,

I am looking to get myself an evo but because I have no credit my bank will not loan over 8k, yes I have seen people sell their evos for 8 thousand give or take, so I am looking for one for around 8,000 give or take. I am willing to travel for a car, please no hate I understand how i sound but I want to give it a try. If any one wants to sell theirs or knows of someone selling one, let me know, thanks

Have to ask out of curiosity, how old are you? I've never seen an evo go for 8k unless it's a salvage auction and it's ****ed.

not hating but, i wouldn't get an evo if funding is limited, they are not exactly known for reliability, and when(not if) they do break its rarely a cheap fix. good luck in your search.

I sold my previous evo for 6k, and it was a pile. Guy that bought it dumped 5k+ into it right away. It was also not running and rebuilt title. Just food for thought.

I've seen a clean title 04 Evo go for 9k, but I stayed away when the owner replaced the stock recaros for some cheapo seats from autozone not to mention a lot of things were replaced.

To the OP, save up and do it once and do it right, any Evo for 8k is going to need work and if your having a problem getting credit to get one, or don't have the cash up front you should look at other cars in your range.

Not sure if this thread is serious.

Not lacking funds or anything and not in a rush at all. Just waiting for the 6 month mark to get my credit score then I can get the big enough loan. Without interest being high. I posted this because I recently saw a well maintained evo 8 sell for 8k. Female owner. So I wanted to see if there would be another deal like that. thanks for your input guys.

Ya I will correct myself there, it an have a clean title. But clean title evos can also be in horrible condition. I know a guy who bought an 04 for 7k. Had spin rod bearings and stolen parts including no interior. Clean title. Had to spend another 10k to get it working. Then the tcase blew. Bye bye another 2k. Point is, every evo priced at under 10k WILL needs thousands more put into it. It's the reality.

in 6 months your score will not advance enough for you to get a loan on your own. you'll need a co-signer. also every time you apply that takes a hit at your score as well and that stays on your record for 2 years. if you're struggling, because lets be honest that is the case, with obtaining anything below a 20k loan on your own the evo is not for you; at least at this point in your life. the evo is not nice enough to go into debt and possibly ruin your credit over.

Let me help a little. Take out a 1000.00 loan. Put the money in the bank and pay it off over the next 4-6mos. This will help with the credit issue, establish a record and then maybe you can get something of a loan when you need it.

Me I looked all over lowest price you will find for a decent evo is 12k but it will have some high mileage. I was blessed for getting a clean title evo for 15k with 50k miles
