Let's see your Evo in the snow pics!
Here in rural NC, I was on Day 3 of being snowed in. I've seen 4-wheelers, 4WD trucks, and a tractor go down the road past my house. I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as a snow plow in this county.
I tried to drive my Evo X around, got off the beaten path, got sideways, and got stuck in the 3" snow.
Good thing this was all in my driveway!
I suppose the bald summer tires don't help.
I know to use the Snow setting on my Evo, but should I turn the ASC off?
Edit: Tried again, got to Hwy 17, and found that it had been plowed. But, it was an adventurous few miles to get there, down a bunch of road where you can't see the pavement, and past a truck that was stuck across (not in) a ditch.
I also found that I have to brake really gently, or the ABS vibrates the pedal and the car doesn't turn or slow down.

No idea how some of you guys own an evo and don't get incredibly tempted to go out and play when there's fresh powder on the ground. It's amazing what these cars can do with some good all-seasons or dedicated snow tires.
Sorry the video isn't longer...gf got cold

Eh, to each their own. Personally I spent a lot of $$ on my dream car to drive the hell out of it in its natural element (snow, dirt, tight corners, etc.). And really it's the salt that kills the metal not so much snow. Unfortunately there's salt on the ground for a good part of the winter here in Delaware... Was wayyy worse when I lived in Mass though, had to wash her every week it seemed
