weird sounding squeal
Finally back from two weeks of being out of town and got the new starter. When I went to remove the tranny bolt the freakin starter was lose...I have no idea how, but the bolt backed itself out.
I took some pics of the flywheel and there are a couple chips in the teeth as well as some noticeable wear on part of the starter.
Check this out:
Flywheel has chipped teeth

Left is the new starter. Right is the one I just pulled out. The right one has been grinded down on that end part where the shinny metal is

Now my question is...All those metal shavings...Are those floating around somewhere and causing that metallic squeal I hear???
