FIC 2150 noise!

I just got myself a set of FIC 2150 injectors, i love them so far but my only concern is how loud they are. under any type of light or hard acceleration they click like a lifter. it also only seems to do it after ive been driving for a while. usually 15-20min after the car is fully warmed up. i am runny E85 ( it has been pretty cold out), doubler pumper, stock rail, S2's, springs and retainers, FP black BB, and full bolt ons. Is this normal? any advice would be great.. Thanks!

I have the FIC 1100 high z injectors on my IX and I am running 93 octane with them and they are loud as hell!!!! I thought there was something wrong with them but all my fuel trims are normal and I even had an Evo shop look at it and they said that they were fine. Search for threads on here, there's a lot of ppl saying how loud FIC injectors are. I installed the resistor by pass with these also, just figured I would cover that before someone suggests that I didn't by pass it.

Mine tick super loud when cold... if I let the car warm up to full temp I have no issues...

And it only does it at mid-part throttle..

Yeah mine click as well. I used a stethoscope to verify it was the injectors because I thought I had valve train issues initially.

My brother had a supercharged Z06 and his large injectors clicked as well. I won't go out and say ALL large injectors do it because I don't have enough experience with them, but all the ones I've seen personally have.

I also used a stethoscope to verify it was the injectors clicking and it definitely is them. I was almost hoping it would be the lifters lol because I can replace those but there isn't anything I can do about the injectors. Oh well, its only noticeable if the window is down with the radio off so I can live with it. I should have got the 900's anyways, 1100 is over kill for my set up.

Before you replace them. There is a factory procedure for cleaning them out using diesel fuel. I would try that first, do a little searching and im sure you will find the instructions.
