Thinking about buying this ecu for my evo 5. Any opinions from people with experience with these would be useful. Or option to purchase

 

No knock sensor remember that

We have that on one of our Evo

And I had to order ear head set and get a knock link gauge.

Maybe platinum pro has ability to log knock?

We didnt take it off because it came with the car and heard its a great ecu overall

 

Thanks for the info. My tuners the haltech agent in nz and really pushing this unit. Not good it doesnt hv knock sensor though

 

ask your tuner if he has the head sets to tune these units.

I had to buy a head set for our tuber which is 450 usd more

 

Great ECU but sold mine because I didn't like the fact that I can't log knock.
Went back to oem ecu and I am happy that I did.
