First, congrats and welcome. It looks like a very well kept car. Wouldn’t know how good/bad until a thorough inspection and test drive. And if the car does not keep a smile on your face, then you aren’t driving her hard enough.

Not just the Evo, I have been watching auctions on BaT recently and there are crazy selling prices on lower mileage discontinued examples of s2000, itr. I saw a 70’s Civic yesterday lol

That's because BaT is trying to establish themselves as the "go to" auction site. Using them as a reference for pricing is a bad idea.
Unless we're willing to believe BaT attracts any and all buyers that are willing to randomly pay triple market value for any given car.

I think it's a good indicator of market value for pristine, low mileage cars. One guy on FB said his clean low mileage Evo 9 SE was flipped on BaT shortly after selling it private party. Seems like he sold it too cheap!

It's a clean desirable low mileage sample. I would have bought if I only knew! Same color and spec as my old one.

Bought my 06 evo 9 MR with 54K miles for $20k (private seller) in 2014. Crazy how much they still retain in value.

I just sold my EB IX with 78k on it for $27,500 yesterday. Owned the car for 7 years. Was a sad day.
