I have the etc 4" with piping and fitment is great. You can't go wrong with any parts from ETS IMO. There are so many cams on the market, there is actually a thread discussing 17 different cams with comparisons in the evo general section right now. The s2's are popular I have the s3s and have no complaints. Injectors you need to do some reading on low impedance vs high impedance and decide ur goals. If you want 600hp you are gonna need atleast some FIC 1450's if you want to stay low impedance. Also depends on what kind of fuel you will be using. E85, pump, race. Exhaust yea any 3 inch with no cat is the way to go. Exedy twin hd i think is the best clutch. i have it and love it. Better than any other clutch i have tried on the evo. I wouldn't worry too much about trans and t-case. Personally I would just replace them when they blow. Your t case will go on launches and your trans will start to grind when your sincros wear out. Suspension depends of style of driving, street, drag, auto x. I have the Map intake, they re-do your stock one. No complaints.

After all that TUNE. It doesn't matter if you put 50k into your engine. It won't make even close to the power you want without a great tune. Get yourself to a good tuner and get as much time on the dyno as you can. Lastly DRIVER. Now that your car makes a ton of power you need seat time before you can use your car to more than half it's potential.

True about the tuner. My car is at Evolution Dynamics now.

I like the s2's because I have had them before and I loved their street manners. For me I think the S3's would shift my power curve too far to the right for my liking.

I will only run 93 pump gas with mainly street driving with the occasional strip run for fun.

On the trans and transfer case, I was only thinking of building them because I will already be rebuilding and building up the motor. Better safe than sorry I guess.

Once it comes down to making the final decision I will work with Kevin D to get the best combination of parts I can.

Made this thread to get other people's thoughts to help me pass the time before my case is settled...lol

What do you mean by handles? An Evo with 600 whp and factory aero is good for one thing; going in a straight line.

What is the purpose of the car? Street, strip, or circuit?

Funny we have the same goal. Mine being 5-600 on 93. I'm leaning towards the 6466 for a big turbo that can grow and laggy enough so when I just want to cruise I won't be getting into boost all the time without trying. Also they're easier on the stock block than say, an fp black.

You will not hit 600 on any stock frame turbo with straight 93. I've seen a 6266 crack 580 on canada's 94 octane which seems to be amazing and I believe that was the smallest turbo I've seen get that close.

This is my goal for my next build too and I plan on doing it with what I have with the addition of a Curt Brown ported head, 2.4L and a 3586.

I've heard the spool difference between a 6266 and 6466 to be small enough to merit going with the 64 instead.

Mainly street with some fun runs at strip and circuit.

I think that if I keep my whp goal I'll go with the HTA35r but if I tone it down then I'll have to start my turbo search all over again...

If you're staying on pump 93 or whatever I think a bigger motor will help you reach your goals and be much more fun to drive as well.

Yea, there are no e85 stations close enough to me to run that so it will be a 93 octane car for sure.

I read through Tedb's thread about a hta35 1.06 ts and that has me thinking about doing one of those setups on a 2.3ltr.

I think that would be a good combo for street, autox and road course.
