What would you pay for an IX?

Hey guys,
I was wondering what you would think a fair price for an Evo IX with 20,000 to 30,000 miles would be with little to no mods and a 9+/10 condition. I'm fairly new to the scene and really wanting to get my first Evo in good condition without carrying someone's modification issues.

Thanks!

Yup, I would say mid 20s for a clean low mileage 9, with little to no mods.

For reference, I gave 24k for my IX SE with 53k on it. Air filter, exhaust, and mbc were the only mods.

And modded isnt always necessarily a bad thing if it was done right, its the backyard mechanic jobs that would scare me, if it was modded by a reputable shop and all checks out, I wouldn't be as worried

I paid 24.5K for my SE with 25,000 miles on it. That was 3 years ago but I don't think the price has moved a lot for low mileage/good examples of the IX

I would say for a 20k-30k stock car you are going to be looking more in the high $20k range....If you can find a stock one!

Mine is built with just under 21k miles and I wouldn't part with it unless it was up high in the $20k range.

I understand your point, however I have very little knowledge when it comes to modding cars and I'd like to understand what's changed in the car and why before I buy it. Sadly, "It's just better than the stock part," doesn't cut it for me. I'm sure it takes a long time to learn all the ins and outs so I'd rather get a stock or as close to stock car as possible while I still have a chance and learn as I go.
