Holy crap, talk about bad ethics. Vendetta Motors or whatever the hell you call yourself now, you definately don't deserve to run a buisiness. I not yet an Evo owner but I own Two turbo DSMs and a 3KGT VR-4. And there are a few shops I do most of my buisiness with, such as SBR and RRE. If I was to hear one bad rep about the, it would a hundred good reps to erase the mark left by one bad expierence. And I have yet to hear about a bad expierience with SBR whom I give pretty much 99% of my buisiness. These guys are great, the shop owner personally emails me to thank me for the buisiness and are extremely quick to answer calls and questions, even on products I didn't buy from them. You can learn from shops like these. Insulting the customer on a forum like this is definately the stupidest thing I've seen. I am shocked, whoa, I will make it my personal goal to let everyone know not to deal with you and hopefully my friends can do the same.

Teeth,

Reigning Performance is an old performance shop here in Austin. It used to be owned by Mark. He sold it several years ago to some guy, not sure of his name, maybe it is Jesse. But it closed, or so I thought, a while later. Most likely, the current owner of Reigning didn't want to operate publicly under that name, but didn't want to setup a new business. Thus Vendetta and Reigning sharing addresses.

Hope this helps.

I think you will be the one with free time on your hands. Especially since I have seen this on multiple forums. Better practice for your new job in the industry: "Will that be regular or unleaded sir."

Thanks articfury! Yeah that does help. From what I know Reigning Performance has had three addresses. One in Burnett Road, another on Gracy Farms and another along Wagon Trail. Jesse operates from Wagon Trail, near Braker and Lamar. Yeah I remember the names Mark and Tim mentioned, they did some Supra stuff and other stuff too. According to my info, Reigning Performance closed down when it was at Wagon Trail in 98. Question is, did Mark really sell? DOES ANYONE KNOW HIS LAST NAME AND APPROX AGE PLEASE? If so, send me a PM!

I came across this, reminds me of the discussion they had on 4g61 about Jesses car (link above) :

> Reigning Performance of Austin, TX. claims they can upgrade my
> 93 touring to around 490HP for around 8-9k. That's with a

I agree that these HP numbers do not seem right. That is way optimistic. But you could contact the shop and see if they have dyno sheets to back these claims up.

The costs also seem way low. Gordon provides some alternate pricing estimates. I modified the intercooler high range as there are several popular ICs that go for about $1500. Gordon had listed this as $1000+.

I would add that Gordon's estimate for the fuel system might be a little low, if you were to include the fuel pump, regulator, new lines with AN fittings, cleanable filter (e.g.- Canton), new injectors, etc. (This is probably one of the areas Gordon refers to as important things not included).

If the shop does include all of the parts required, for the price given, they are probably skimping quite a bot on quality parts and leaving things out.

this thread is just far to out of control to try and defend against. all you people taking some rumors, and running with them, making up your own stories.....with only one side of the story being heard. all i can do is sit back and read. it gets more and more rediculous with every post.

Vendetta was started by a couple people that used to be employess os reigning performance, a shop that went out of business about 5 years ago. we just thought it would be cool to bring back that name, but no affiliaton with the old shop. we immediately got phone calls from the IRS concearning unpaid taxes by the previous owners. we are IN NO WAY affiliated with that shop, a couple fo us just used to work there. for some reason our fax # is listed in the phone book under "Reigning Performance'. we immediately changed our name to Vendetta, and even that is mis-listed, and mis-spelled in the phone book.

Our adress is
901 Wagon Tr.
Austin, TX
78758

our phone number is 512-491-8555
my personal cell phone number is 512-507-3514
my name is Jesse Davis, im 26 years old and im 6'2 185 lbs.

i have never tried to hide anything from you, or not communicate with you, ive replied to all of your emails. all the information you are digging up is like 4 or 5 years old, and comepletely irrelevant.

this thread is a completely rediculous attempt to give us a bad rep as a shop, which hey, whatever, do what you gotta do. we have hundreds of very satisfied customers, HAD 100% positive feedback on EBay....etc...

and for whoever says youve seen this on other boards....bull****, we have a spotless reputation, and do excellent work. we have one misunderstanding with one guy....and now we have 4 pages of people trashing our shop...that have absolutley no experience with us whatsoever. c'mon people.

hey teeth, if you paid by credit card, you can call your credit card to reverse the charges made on the credit card for the purchase of those injectors. If you have proof that you sent the package back etc... your credit card company will take care of you and do all the necessary work to get your money back.

however if you payed with paypal or cash, then your SOL dude. Hope you paid by credit card cuz then you'll get your moeny back guaranteed.

Jesse,
I think the bad rap you've gotten is because of your attitude and responce that you posted here. This is probably all a simple misunderstanding, but your mistake as a business owner is to let it get out of hand. I don't know teeth or you. I only have the statements made by each of you to base my judgements on.

Frankly, I find it alarming that you deny repsonsibility for a delivery that was signed for at your shop. Whatever happened, someone at your address signed for it and you should take responsibility.

You can still make this right if you choose to.

Robert

For the record, I was not trying to suggest Vendetta was hiding anything or had a relationship to Reigning. In the absence of more info from Jesse, I was trying to provide as much data as I knew about Reigning back 5 years ago or so.
