To those of you with JDM rears

Are these 2 pieces on the side of the bumper supposed to look like this? I received my JDM rear today and a rear crash beam and when I unwrapped the bumper I noticed these 2 tabs were bent down and white along the crease as if they were forced down. The rear crash bar was in its own box but that box was placed inside the large box the bumper was shipped in and of course the bumper just had a thin layer of foam and bubble wrap around it. I'm thinking from the rear crash beam being tossed around during shipment it caused this but I just want to be sure that the tabs are in fact damaged. Here are the pics:

Nothing to worry about. They're made that way. The original USDM bumper is exactly the same. You're good to go.

My fiancé bought them for me from driveline. I'm glad it's normal then. I jus didn't want them to break off or something when I go to install it.

What a great fiancé. She must have been listening to your "I wish I could spring for a JDM bumper" conversation.

Most of the time, when I discuss any Evo stuff with my girl, her eyes tend to glaze over...

haha my fiancé bought mine too a few years ago. Was a complete surprise for my bday. I actually started yelling at her when they delivered the huge *** box, like "what useless crap did you buy yourself now?" I near soiled myself

Hahaha it works both ways. She gets what she wants most of the times lol so I figured I'd ask for a JDM rear.

Also, are the clips for the tow hook cover color matched to the cover? Or are they regular black clips? If they're color matched to the cover I'll have to pick some up because I didn't get any with it.
