So I finally installed my bumper a few days ago and there's about 1/4" gap around the muffler opening and the muffler. I'm just wondering if anyone else has their muffler that close to their bumper. I like the way it looks but I just wanna make sure it's not going to melt the bumper. I was thinking about picking up some gold heat tape and just putting it on the top part of the muffler to keep the heat away.

 

As long as its not touching, it shouldnt melt it. Mine touched and melted before.

it doesnt touch now, its pretty close to it, but no melting
