STM Now Offers a Front and Rear Lightweight Crash Bar for Your Evo!
Our customers have asked for it so we have done it! If your looking to get rid of that ugly, heavy OEM crash bar behind your front and rear bumper and still have some added security we have your solution!
The STM Front Crash Bar is designed to fit the Buschur Street and Race Intercoolers, giving you an extra piece of mind on the street, and that lost bumper support. Made in-house of 1 5/8" chromoly steel and finished with satin black enamel, this piece still weighs less than factory coming in at only 7.5 pounds.
The Crash Bar was tested around the Buschur Street and Race cores. It will likely not fit the BFIC, but should clear most other aftermarket intercoolers as well.
For those looking to ditch the OEM crash beam we have The STM Rear Bumper Support!
The STM Rear Bumper Support is designed to fit both Evo VIII and JDM IX rear bumpers. It is available with or without the license plate mounting tabs. Made in-house of 1 5/8" chromoly steel, weighing in at only 6 pounds and finished with satin black enamel and new mounting hardware is included.

I do not remember how much the OEM ones weigh exactly but this is a huge difference!
Both bars together only weight about 13.5 pounds!
