How much power on agp intercooler

Ok for the past few days i have been doing research on my AGP 3.5 Intercooler on my EVO 9. I see alot of people have used this intercooler, but i have not seen anyone post up how much power it was good for. In fact AGP doesnt even specify on their site how much power its capable of handling. I personally have made over 600 whp with this intercooler, but im curious if it is capable of more. If anyone has any testimonial of this intercooler not becoming a restriction after 600-650 whp please chime in.

find out what core is used and you can base research off of that. FWIW the garrett 3.8" flows enough for alot of power.

I currently have the AGP 3.5" Intercooler on my Evo IX and on E85 i'm hitting 415whp at 28psi with almost pressure no drop. My buddy also has this intercooler on his Evo VIII and he's at 521whp. I know he has plans to break into the 600whp mark coming up here shortly.

I was under the impression AGP used Garrett cores as well. I do live 20 minutes from, I supposed I could just go ask Regardless its a damn good intercooler and I have no complaints what so ever.

The intercooler has been great for me all the way up into the 600's but is it gonna become a issue when i push it harder....... Ive not seen one person in one thread thats had this intercooler in excess of 500 whp that ive seen except myself. Im sure there is but i havent seen a thread about it.

I'm actually on a VRSF 3.5" Fmic and @ 32 psi it's working fine but if and when I decide to crank it up I'll be looking into the Garrett core.

There's quite a bit of difference between 500 and 650+ though. He's already been at the 600 level on it.

I know, I posted the graphs cause the OP said he has never, beside himself, seen someone with excess of 500whp on this intercooler

Most def ive seen alot of people have success with the Garrett 3.8 and the ETS 4. I think either would be good in excess of 800 whp.
