Rear fender/qaurter flares? Voltex or not?

Hey guys, I'm fitting larger rims and tires on my EVO. I've went with 18X9.5 +15 RPF1's. I've read countless threads about fitment, etc, so I have an idea of what I'm getting myself into.

I don't want to run stretched rubber, I'm planning on going with 255/40.

I'm hoping someone can help me figure out 100% what these flares are, and if they are attainable. Instead of rolling/pulling the rear fender to death, I'm debating on whether or not to have something like this fitted.

The picture comes from the EVOM charity calender, and I'm hoping someone can help determine whether the rear flares are in fact voltex, or something else. Something about this doesn't seem voltex to me...

I've search to try and find my answer, but I've been unsuccessful.

Those are voltex over fenders, or knock offs.

If you add those 18x9.5 is a joke. You can fit 18x9.5 +28 or so with 255s and even 265s with stock body.

I have the vis voltex front and rear fenders. Im running 18x10.5+18 with 285/35 tires

That's good to know.

I've seen pictures of 18X9.5 fitted with a 255 and it sticks out too far to my taste. I thought adding the fenders would help flush it out.

Do you have any pictures of your 18X10.5 285/35 set up?

These are 275/35 but they run wide. 285s will go on at some point.

I'm running a 265/35/18. I think it looks fine. Just a roll is all I did.

As far as I can tell, +38 only comes in silver.

Are you running the same wheel specs? 18X9.5 +15?

Would you happen to have a picture of your set up? 265 was my ideal size, but it seemed like everyone was saying it was too much work to fit them.

If you wouldn't mind letting me know what your suspension setup is, that would be great too.

No. I'm running 18x9 +30 rota rim. As far as I know the previous owner just rolled the rear. I replaced my front fenders with OEM brand new aluminums.

+30 offset is whats helping you fit those on stock body. I think max is like +22 before you start to poke.

Im currently looking at fitting 18x9.5 +12 with a 265 or 275 tire. I think a widebody overfender would make your wheels look sunken. I think I may have to get custom metal rear fenders and a pull or evodave front fender mod.

If the wheel isnt something rare then I'd suggest you just sell them and get something +22 and higher.

Thanks for the information guys.

I ended up selling the 18X9.5 +15 RPF1's.

It's far more work to fit them than I'm willing to get into. I don't mind rolling fenders, but I don't want to get into fitting wide body fenders, might throw off the rest of the body.

Currently pricing out a set of Weds TC105N's in 17X9.5 +32.
