Tune at Boostin, AMS or Strictly Modified??
Tune at Boostin, AMS or Strictly Modified??
Hey guys wanted to get some opinions on the shops to get a tune at. I am familiar with all 3 of these but want to hear some input from you guys. As of right now I have a 2005 Evo with an Intake, APS Turboback, Hallman Manual Boost Controller, autometer boost gauge and Tein springs
I will be upgrading to an evo 9 turbo, ETS fmic and I/C piping, Walbro fuel pump, FIC or Injector Dynamics 1150 injectors, Kelford 272 Camshafts and possibly a few other odds and ends.
Any input would be great guys. Thanks

call boostin or SM and see which one you like better, or which ever one is close. Honestly, that's about the deciding factor. AMS has moved on. They probably won't give you the time a day, which is fine. Companies have to grow. You're going to hear good things about all 3, more so about BP and SM than AMS, in recent years.
Thanks for the info so far guys. I will be calling both Boostin and SM tomorrow to find out which one I like more. I will probably stop in by both of them as well to get familiar with the place as both of them are 20 mins away from me.

Chris@AMS did a great job with tuning my car...it was obvious I dont know much about tunes after he fixed it up. He came out to HI though so you might be right that they don't mess with evo's at their shop anymore?
