Im not sure about Consumer rights & Customer satisfaction in USA..
But in Aust, the Vendor/Merchant that sells you the product. Should not have you going through the hassle of liaising with the manufacturer.
Thats literally almost like as if; your new EVO is under warranty. Mitsubishi dealer you bought it off doesn't want to deal with the headache and instructs you to deal with the manufacturer/factory in japan.
Think about it, what if it was a German product? the merchant wants you to contact the individual in Germany and play postage-tennis internationally?
