So I thought I would share my experience and how I saved nearly $100 doing something that will benefit me for short route piping.

Took my evo to autozone to check the alternator becuase of bad idling, they said my battery was bad and for a good battery it would cost around $130

Im pretty much conservative and I could have just spent that on a mini battery kit and cough up the extra $70

Looked online for a car battery just to be curious and stumbled upon the FID mini tray for $50.00, thought I could save a little bit more money so I watched it, and did some more research on a mini battery tray for less. I noticed my phone was blowing up telling me people every 45 mins were watching this item. So I jumped the gun and bought the tray for $50 still happy though

next few day I started looking for a mini battery the pc680 oddessy. Saw they were around $130 I was like are you joking me for a small battery I could have just bought a new one or converted it to the trunk. So I researched and saw a member had a csb battery for his car for 3 years and had no issues, found the same battery but they were out of stock and no one else had it. So I checked out ETS site and saw they sell the same battery for $99.00 almost bought it but googled the serial number on the battery and alot of sites popped up.

So I bought the CSB battery that has the same specs as the oddessy but for $75 free shipping Serial number HRL 1280W.

My only delimma was the terminals I bought off ebay the XS power brass for $9.99 the screws were too big they were M6x1.5, the mini battery from CSB was an M5x1.5 easy fix at autozone.

Keep a note that if you purchase an FID battery tray the battery will be a very tight fit, so you can port around it to make it bigger so it sits in the tray or place it directly over and synch it down just enough to where its snug and you dont compress the battery.

But here is the finish product, call me cheap but I got exactly what I wanted at the cost I could afford and since ETS uses the same battery so must the drag pros with thier evos
