how to fix a broken door mechanism in an evo 8

Does any one have an article on installing/or replacing the interior locking mechanism for an EVO 8? Thanks.

Search for door lock actuator.

My rear driver door quit working one day back when it was stupid cold. The next day it worked but I found out how to fix it thinking it was toast.

There is a thread about cleaning out the actuator motor. however I took my door apart and theres a rod that connects to the door handle that is attached to the lock and I cant figure out how to remove it and the other guys write up just suddenly shows it disconnected. If you figure it out please let me know

Unhook the yellow plastic clip and it should come right out.
