price on my evo9

hi guys,
i am from monterrey, mexico. and back on 2006 i was in san antonio texas for a few months and decided to buy a red evo 9 (5 speed) as of right now the car only has 5k miles on it, 100% stock and all the 8 years its been inside a garage.

the car is currently in texas, it has been taken to the dealer all the time even tho it wasent in use to keep it running the dealer was surprised to see my car in such a good shape and they offered me to buy it i said no because i was not sure about the tag price on it, i was wondering how much i could sell it for as of right now if i decided to sell it in the USA, my other option is legalize it (process in witch the car becomes mexican and they give it mexican plates) and bring it to mexico and maybe i could get alot more money over here.

what are your thoughts about this car?

1) I think you could get a very nice selling price. 25k seems awfully low for a completely stock evo with only 5 thousand miles! Not to mention red seems to be desirable compared to other colors. That's unicorn status to me...

2) The line about turning the Evo "mexican" just sounds hilarious. Nothing to add to that, just made me laugh when I read it

Dang that thing has been there a long while. Tire mark stained the epoxy floor. Rare indeed!

Very nice! $25-28k is going to be the sweet spot, but make sure to give that paint tons of love first, looks like she could use a good bath at the very least.

Covers are pretty cheap as well.

I wouldn't let it go for less than 30K, there are people selling 9s with 60k miles for 25k all day

It's kind of weird that for a garaged Evo with only 8k miles, it doesn't still have the stock Advans.

thanks for the advice, that is what i was thinking, a car that is no longer on production and the best of it's kind ((evo9 > evo x all day long)) should at least gain some value.

by this do you mean the tires?
i just had them changed a month ago, just so you know tires have a lifespan even if you don't move the car.
