starting from $150Aud… (id imagine cheaper there due to possible more competition)

i would personally ring around first… rather than spend over $1000 as you mentioned for the JDM, all because of a few scratches on the paint

 

60 bucks an hour body labor!! Dang looks like I'm in the wrong state, its 38 here. The estimate is pretty reasonable. Going rate is about 300 a panel for small spot repairs like your working with plus clear. And that's for a daily driver regular vehicle, not for a rari. You scraped it down to raw plastic, so if you really wanted to do it right you'd have to hit it with a plastic adhesion promoter or some kind of surface modifier to get the primer to bite in over it. Then from there its just like any other spot repair and re-clear. If I were you Id buff it a bit and touch it up with a brush and put the cash to a JDM and sell your stocker when you make the switch.
