Mod advice please!

Whats up guys. I got an 03 eve 8 with ets intake, o2 housing, full tbe, and a 255fp. Its tuned pushing 340hp, and wondering what i should do next to get even closer to 500hp. Just ordered GSC s1 cams, and 1000cc id injectors. Any suggestions on what else to get?

To get in the neighborhood of 500 whp you will need a different turbo. Something along the lines of an FP Green...or a Red would get you there easier. I don't think an S1 cam would match up very well with the powerband of these turbos though. I would've went with the S2. Have you considered an E85 tune? There are many different avenues to get this power goal, but it depends on a lot of things: budget, if you want a stock frame turbo or not, etc.

Agree on getting s2's. To get near 500hp though you will need a bigger turbo, also look into getting a licp and 3.5" intercooler if you dont have them already.

honestly do evo ix turbo port polish your intake and exhaust manifold. S1's are good but not gonna do what you want get the S2's (dont forget do your valves springs and retainer also if taken apart not bad time to redo arp head studs) i would do 1200 plus injectors just cuz it holds that easily and more if you wanna do something more down roads. Have you done your lower intercooler piping yes it helps. i would say bigger intercooler, but stock intercooler will be fine. and cuz i see NY has plenty of spots unlike Cali.. GO E85.

just remember anything over 450hp on stock block and tranny could really take its toll.

1. evo ix turbo - 500 craigslist or find someone that doesnt use old one cuz of upgrade)
2. port polish intake and exhaust manifold- maperformance 249.99 intake + 349.99 exhaust
3. S2 (springs valves and retainers) 550.00 cams Valves vary 214.00 to 360.00
4. bigger injectors 1200 plus. 390.00 and above
5. lower intercooler piping - 189.99
6. E85 that beast.- tuning charges vary.

i used MAperformance for most pricing. Always check out the private for sale section also the vendors they like to throw up some good discounts at time.

just my .02

Forget stock frame turbo just spend your money and get a turbo kit. You spend more money trying to make stock frame turbo to make power then get a turbo kit.
