anyone want my #1 spot on the list?

I am first on the list for an EVO VII/VIII at Bob Baker mitsu, however I just couldnt wait to get an EVO so I got an M3. Anyway, I put $500 for the spot, so if anyone around the San Diego area would like to just re-emberse me for the $500 down payment, you can have the spot for it. I havent done much research lately, so I dont know how the waiting lists are looking, but Im just seeing if anyone would like this. The $500 is fully refundable, however I Have been on this forum for a while, and like everyone on it, and would rather see one of you get my spot over the next person on the list, assuming they are not an enthusiast. I have not put in any orders as far as any options or colors, so it is still in fully buildable condition. If no one wants it in a couple weeks, Im just gonna get my money back from the dealer. so just let me know if you are interested.

to and be

Did someone take your spot already and are they selling at MSRP?

Nope, no one has taken my spot yet. They did not guarantee that that they would sell it at msrp, however they did say that "they are a msrp dealership and have never marked anything up, and if they did mark it up, it would be by very little." it sounded pretty assuring to me, which explains why I chose them to put my deposite down at. I put it down about 6 months ago, so there were still alot of options.

I dont' trust dealerships.

chairezdaniel, my advice to you is that if you do decide to take his spot make sure the paperwork is done right. I mean I have $500 over msrp but it's the number 1 spot and they drove a hard bargin. They should just wrote something about the price on the contract if they were thinking about mark ups. Looks like to me that they wanted to see the market value for the car and then charge all they could to maximize profit. At this point if they don't want to sell to you they could just mark it up $3000 and it'll still be legal. Talk is cheap, write it on paper with signiture of the manager . Remember (saleman's doesnt' mean anything).

Just want everyone to do it right. However I apologize in contributing in dealer markups. The salesman wanted to sell for msrp but when i asked for the signiture the manager wanted $1000! WTF! Went down to $500 and still upset at this point.
