Only boosting 10 psi?
So i bought the car completley stock, i just put on a tbe and ets intake. When i bought it i didnt get a chance to see how much boost it was running. So after i installed an intake, it was only boosting 10 psi and wasnt tapered down. I checked exhaust leak but i didnt find anything. I plugged the hole that was going underneath the stock airbox. I couldnt figure why it doing this. I know for sure its running off wastegate pressure which is why its only boosting 10. Do you guys have any other idea? The car itself only has 25k miles. None of the vacuum hose was ever touched.
Did you buy the car new? Are you sure there is no MBC? Could be a boost leak or a vac line off the solenoid under your intake. Tbe and intake should increase your boost due to higher flow. 10 is very low. I would expect you to be at like 19
first figure out whats controlling ur boost. mbc, oem solenoid, aftermarket ebcs, or vac line from jpipe to wga.
check the vac lines from the wga and jpipe and follow it.
i remember i ran the jpipe outlet line to the wga and it was like <14psi
after u figured it out, u can do a boost leak test.

No, there is no mbc. Im going to put one on then i will have the car tune. The car is 100 % stock before exhaust and intake. Its currently on stock boost solenoild.
There are 2 ports on the oem boost solenoid. Once goes into a T that connected to the turbo and wastegate, the other one is plugged since i just installed an ets intake. None of the vaccuum lnie was ever touched, everything is stock, stock pipess. The only i did different is I plugged the port on the boost solenoid, the one that used to go underneath the stock airbox.

My car was doing this when I bought it. But it was reverted back to stock. I came to find I had no boost solenoid or Mbc at all and I was running off of waste gate pressure. Make sure none of the lines going to your jpipe, boost solenoid, and WGA are cracked or completely off.

, the restrictor pill is still in there.
