Id go with RNR racing's since its the cheapest. That way you can get the biggest gains for your $

My 2 cents

Yeah Id talk to them if I were you because I think the issue had to do with the way they were having them made and it was only a problem when the exhaust first came out. Not 100% sure though.

I personally have the AMS and like it alot, it sounds great. It's not quite as big as I would have liked though. I have been seriously considering selling it to get an HKS HiPower or Hiper which run another inch bigger at the tip. I personally like having a cannon on my car.

the Espelir cat back runs in your price range, looks real good(haven't got mine hooked up yet) and it has a big tip
look up WorldOne. There is a thread with a sound clip/movie in the venders classifieds

Buschur w/ MagnaFlow muffler. VERY EASY to install. Took me 1 hour and that included taking off the OEM and letting the car warm up to test run.

It is the straightest system I have seen and you can't miss the canister. Friend of mine was following me one night and he kept blinding himself when his headlights hit the muffler. You can't miss it.

The sound is pretty mellow, little louder than stock at idle, but it purrs nicely up top. Well worth it IMO.

I posted somewhere else: I got 25whp over stock on the dyno with my Buschur turboback with jdm muffler. It's not stealth by any stretch of the word, but it's straight (angled out at the tip - straight back from the cat) and sounds mean. I picked it up for $700, but they don't sell the JDM muffler anymore... I think from what I've personally seen, it's the best bang-for-the-$$$.

I just installed the HKS Hipower. I got the 30th anniversary version.
The fit and finish are amazing. I also went for the DP and the UR 3" cat.
I paid 595 for the catback, because it was combined with the DP.
Alone it was 605 or 615...

I chose this exhaust based on hearing many of the systems with my own ears.
I wanted as close to stock "volume" as I could get. My car draws enough attention. That was my personal
criteria; most power was secondary.
If you get an opportunity to attend one of the Evo get togeters, do it. The guys will be more than
happy to let you listen and decide for yourself.
