Picture of my 05 Evo with the SSL package. Its sitting on Tein springs with stock struts (Need to get some coilovers). The car is just about stock with the exception of a intake and cat back.

My question is....

Can I buy just replacement lenses for the headlights? the tint was done by the previous owner and is bubbling (a film type tint). I'm tiring to save the existing lights so I don't have to spend $500 for a new set. I have the same situation with the taillights.

If the tint is just film you can remove it with a squeegie(?) and a steamer. if it's vinyl you should be able to just peel it off

 

under the tint the lenses appear to have small cracks.

 

They do not sell the lenses separate

Like stated just remove the film

 

just remove the film and throw a clear film in there that's it head lights are expensive especially HID one's do the same thing in the back and you should be good to go these headlights run you about 1000$ just a used one

 

Where can you buy a set of new SSL headlights for $500? Just wondering.
