Hi, When i bought my evo it has a carbon fiber trunk on it. The pervious owner must have taken out the torsion bars to prevent it from flying up. Anyway, the trunk is nasty and faded and chipped so i got an oem one and an oem wing and I am going to put those on. My only real question is how many "torsion bar clips" do I need. I see the part listed on the mitsubishi parts webiste but I'm not sure how many i need. This is really the only thing that is preventing me from ordering the bars. If one of you kind fellas could run outside and snap a pic or two of torsion bars installed on your car that would be hugely appreciated. thanks, Brian

 

do you necessarily need the bars? the bars just facilitate the opening of the trunk but don't seem all too necessary

 

yeah its just a huge pain holding the trunk and trying to get things in and out of it. I don't use it all the time but I would just like the car to function properly.
