She made it to 209k on the stocker, the ole gal deserved some new jewelry. The feat is making into to 300+k with the entire vehicle.

The first production DSM didnt make it 3 miles, let alone 300k. I'd say they figured a few things out.

Actually, 4RETECH's was a 420 whp powerplant haha.

Usually when people brag about joining the million mile club they do it without having to take the head off.
In this case i'd like to be proud of the 4g63 but pretty sure there are sti's doing 300k with rebuilds as well.

But the car made it to 200k+ miles with well over 400 whp... and then he fixed what broke, and since then it's gone another 140k+ miles. I don't see how that's not an accomplishment, even if you don't count it as 350k.

I would say so too, Anyone with 300k that THEY have put on the car, and still running strong, no matter the rebuilds that took place, with a modified vehicle is impressive!

No one is bragging. Just that I have a crap load of miles.

And yes, I've searched for the elusive STi....... Never found one.... With original block,transmission,and transfercase with one engine rebuild.........

What was the reason for the rebuild just low leak down or did something actually break?

Balance belt took out timing belt.
