So my Evo with 769whp has become my daily driver lately. Its not bad but the super stiff motor mounts are starting to get old with the vibration and high noise level on the highway. I believe they have a high durometer rating of 88 and its just the front and passenger side mounts, rest are stock. I was going to try the 3 Avid mounts with a durometer of 62 which is still better than stock and add one to the transmission side. I was also considering getting and engine damper to to help. Has anyone tried softer aftermarket mounts in a high HP Evo?

 

I run all stock mounts besides the ams front cross member one 550-600whp, no problems, my good friend does the same on his 650hp evo with no problems.

 

The side mounts are the ones that make everything rattle the most. Try to replace just the side ones and go from there.

 

All stock but the front makes the run much easier to handle daily. Get some new mount and you will be fine.
