I just bought everything I need to install a new turbo and I figured I would replace the stock oem exhaust manifold gasket while I'm doing it. I already purchased a Mr Copper gasket part #7235 from extremepsi and I just read a couple mixed review on them. Anyone personally usethis gasket before? My car has about 70k miles on it.. should I just reuse the oem one again? Thanks

 

If your old gasket isn't bent or does not have any gashes in it, i would just reuse the OEM one. So far i have taken my Exhaust Mani off twice and still no leaks, just make sure to freshen it up. I am up to 130,000 Miles on the Gasket too.

 

Alright, I'll take a look at the stock gasket once I'm there. Did you do anything to clean off the head/exhaust manifold mating surfaces? This is my first time doing this and want everything to go smoothly.
