WPC metal treating, not a coating.

Has anyone ever used the WPC treatment? It looks so promising being that its so much smoother than a polished finish and supposedly harder.

I think it could do wonder for engine builders or turbo manufactures ie main bearings, turbo bearings, anything rotating really...

I know certain parts need a break in and maybe those procedures would have to change with this but does anyone see a downside to this?

I think it should be worth while being that its not a coating and the treatment is to the metal itself.

Here's more info from MotoIQ.com

From my understanding WPC is used from everything from OEM cars to F1. I've never had personal experience with their process on my car though.

That could potentially be pretty awesome for bearings in the turbo.. The question is, how does it hold up to heat cycles?

It's not a coating, so if the metal can withstand the heat, then you're fine.
