Evo 9 compression numbers

Hey all,
Just checked over my 06 MR with 80k miles with I believe only a 3in cat back to see where the compression was, here are the results starting from 1:

Dry and cold motor:
145, 130, 138, 135

I did not disconnect the injectors and I pulled all of the plugs before performing the test. I also heard I needed to have the throttle body butterfly open when doing the test but I also did not do that.

I have never checked compression before but tested it twice in each cylinder. With same results.

Any thoughts? I am so new to these cars I do not know where they should be.
Thanks!
Chad

Re test with a warm motor and the throttle open. Also, disconnect the crank angle sensor plug (right behind the oil cap).

test it warm and let us know the numbers, hopefully 170 or higher on them.

Ok I sure will. Typically on a cold motor without the throttle open are the numbers lower?

Thanks!

Minimum limit or maximum limit? I am trying to read all I can and am seeing a bunch of mivec cars running 130s-140s. only reason I did the test was to make sure no major damage was done from a previous owner, since I just picked it up. It has not burned any oil, no smoke, no noticeable phantom knock during throttle, no coolant issues.

If I heat it up and let the metal expand it should give me a much better gauge of health. I'll do that as soon as I can! I pulled the plugs and pretty sure they are original ngks but it didn't have any noticeable fluid or lean burn. It was a little darker around the threads but seemed to be from possible buildup over the years.

Now this car comes with a crank angle and a cam angle sensor is that correct?

145 is the MINIMUM limit from the service manual.

Correct, it has crank and cam angle sensors.

Standard value (at engine speed of 250 r/min): 1,000 kPa (145 psi)
Minimum limit (at engine speed of 250 r/min): 637 kPa (92 psi)

Taken right from the manual it self....... I'm not sure if people know but there is a difference between 06/MIVEC engine and other versions

Thank you for the additional information! This all is helping me a ton with understanding more about this car.
