I am going to be installing oil pressure and oil temp gauges.

Oil pressure I am thinking of a remote line from where the stock switch goes. This way I can retain my stock switch via a T piece up in the engine bay keeping my oil light on dash.

Temp gauge I was going to use one of the 3/8 BSPT plugs with an adaptor. Which one of those 2 are best for either pressure or temp?

No.2 or No.3 ?




Any help would be greatful.

 

I just installed my oil pressure gauge a week or so ago. I planned on using the inside hole and had to switch because I ran out of wire. Just run everything before you start pulling those plugs. They are a pain to get out and I'm glad I only had to do it once.
