I used the stock cubby and trimmed it so that I could just use the mounting points from it (you can see the top and bottom section are separate). I then glued it to a flat piece of 1/8" plastic that had been spray painted and used some other pieces of plastic to "level off" the face so that it sat flush with the opening full size link
