red line on both my cam gears .?

red line on both my cam gears .?
My car has some trouble starting
I think timing is off. Theres a red mark on both gears are they suppose to line up?

there is one indent on each cam gear, it needs to line up on the valve cover.

There is also a mark on the crank pulley that needs to line up as well.

use a 1/2 drive ratchet to line them up

did you recently change the timing belt or something or do you suspect you jumped timing?
