Get a small pallet, strap it down and get a strong box to put over it. Once you do that, ship with Fedex. They'll send you an invoice with the price sometime later and that's it.

Oh yeah they'll either pick it up for a fair price I believe or you can drop it off at the nearest service center. If you have a friend that works with them that's a +++

Plug up any open lines where debrid can get into the engine, vacuum, oil feed/drain/coolant, etc. Cover the engine up in a sturdy bag- something sturdier than a trash bag. Secure the engine onto a pallet. Try to secure it as close to the center and be mindful of any engine components sticking down inbetween the pallet. You can then use a strong box like above, or just build a little crate for it out of wood and nails. This is how I ship out all my engines, dont be like the d-bag that sent me my shortblock wire strapped onto a pallet compeletely open to the elements. You can find pics of HOW NOT to do it if you search for my thread on it.

should be something near 100-200. If you search around you should be able to ship it out for 75-150.

around 200 bucks. make sure you get a strong pallet and not a flimsy one.

You do everything yourself lol other than pick up. If you drop it off though they might be nice enough and jump in the dumpster to pull a small pallet for you that we throw away like crazy

Yeah, they won't crate it.....you have to.

From NY to CT, why don't you drive it there?
