buying an evo VI GSR
buying an evo VI GSR
Next week I'm going to look at buying my first Evo.
It's an used 1999 Evo VI GSR , with 93k miles on it going for 14k. It's stock and from a dealership.
I'm I able to get a better deal and buy it lower then asking price? All price quotes places I've seen stop at the 2003 model evo's.
I looked at the guide for new evo buyers but it starts at 2003 and goes up but would the same info be applicable to the 1999 model?

14k$ is too much! I would shop more.
For that price you could
http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/used...002/index.html
or
http://www.tradecarview.com/used_car...cer+evolution/
get something like that and still have many bucks left.
Or bring an 8 in from U.S.A. with that kinda cash.

I just bought my Rheims Blue Evo VI GSR with 63,000KM on the clock and hardly any dings on it through auction in Japan through an importer in Calgary, paid $13,000 total cleared customs. So yes, I would say that's too high a price.
