stock evo 9 rims

Hi Gents

Just wondering whats the smallest size you can run on evo 9 rims? 215/40/17 or can you go smaller can i run say 35?

Why so narrow? Isnt stock like 235? Unless its for snow or something?

The stock wheels are 8" wide, you should refer to the tire manufacturers specs for maximum rim width. It is possible to stretch the tire beyond the recommended maximum but you'll be doing so at your own risk and there's plenty of information on doing this on "stance" forums.

215 will work, sidewall doesn't matter much. it will throw off your speedometer etc though

The differences in sidewall size won't affect the speedometer in a way that you'd notice.
