I've been experiencing problems with my EVO for a while now, first the fuel pump wasn't priming at all so I used stm's rewire kit and it was working fine for over a week. Then I was getting ready to take my friend for a joy ride, car started up just ran for about a car length and died. Got it towed home and found out I have no spark and the injectors aren't firing. Fuel pump primes because of the rewire by the way. I have plans to take it to a shop but if I can fix it that world be great. I think I've narrowed it down to the cam position sensor or a bad ecu, any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advanced!

 

Put in a new cam angle sensor, car started right up and about a minute later died. Could this be a bad sensor or something else?

 

When my crank position sensor broke, I had no fuel or spark either. Car was running fine and just shut off. My car didn't start back up though, so I'm not sure if that helps you.

 

Already replaced the crank sensor.

 

Did you check the 20 amp ignition fuses? There are 2 under the hood and one in main fuse block. If one goes, it will shut down all kinds of stuff....

 

i am having the same problem fuel pump dose not prime and i have no spark did you ever figure this out??
