Choosing a turbo manifold!!! Please HELP!!!

I will try to be very specific. Words are not helping me to much!

I do have a T3 BB 6266. I do not want more than 500 HP because I am afraid for gearbox and differential!

I got blocked with my build at the hot parts. I do not have much money (almost broke).
Can someone tell me if I port my OEM manifold and buy a ATP, T3 to OEM adapter it will be ok? Do I will get 500 HP safe?
Do the manifold hold that power??

I really really appreciate any opinion!
Thank you very much!!!!

Yes it should work. But if you want to stay with cast parts, purchase Forced Performance's Cast Exhaust manifold which will give you better response spooling up your turbo. They're on sale at $249

dudes broke nd your tellin him to hit up sheepy. the **** is wrong with you guys.

look dude you shouldnt be going for that power if you cant afford things. even if you bought a stage 45 rip off trans from shep your still breaking eventually. sell that turbo, buy an fp red or black nd have fun. Its clearly out of your budget to have a 500hp big turbo evo

Hi
Thank you so much to everybody.
The ideea is that I am at the end of my aquisitions.
I already bought all the other parts for build ( pistons roda, fuell..injectors, cams..etc!)
Does the stock mani holds close to 500hp?
I do not have 1000+$ to spend on hot parts(

You shouldnt be aiming for 500hp if your going to do it on a budget, so to speak. Maybe a stock turbo evo is more reasonable for you.

Save your money and buy the right parts when you can afford them.

Another option would be to downsize your turbo to save on some cash. With your goal of 500hp, a 6266 seems a little unnecessary.

I see is is from Bucharest which might mean the turbo was already in country and didn't have to pay any fee's.

OP: Do you still have the stock turbo and those components? The recommendation I would make would be run the stock set up, while you break the engine in, and work out any bugs that might come up(ie: leaks).

As if you are trying to use a stock manifold/t3 adapter you will need an o2 housing, which no one makes one that will work for that application which will result in $$$$. It might be best to either pick up a used hot parts kit from here, or just wait on the stock turbo until you have recouped the funds for a hot parts kit. As I imagine unless you can weld you will pay atleast $500 for someone to make the 02 housing/downpipe.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your help!
I bought the turbo from US (I managed with the fees..)
Down pipe and the O2 I can make them here! (250$ plus flanges) I can port my mani if it will help me!
I saw today on ATP that adapter and I am wondering if the OEM mani is holding 450- 500HP? That is my only concern now

Again, thank you for your answer!

The OEM manifold CAN do it, most just use a manifold designed for the larger turbo, just search for any of the FP red/black dyno's.

A lot of people are porting them though. If you can make the 02 housing/downpipe why not make a manifold as well?
