Who has liability only in a snow region of California? Lesson learned I guess.

Sorry you got the short end of the stick out of that recent storm....

Are you guys serious about almost 7-8 grand worth of repairs?
Damn that's nuts. It seems that the rear end cost more then front to repair?

Damn I wonder how much it cost in Canada? Most likely 9-10 grand Canadian.

Well good luck with the repairs.

Quality body work is expensive. Its pretty easy to hit the point where an insurance company will consider a car totaled. Its why our premiums are so expensive to begin with. The fact that OEM parts are very expensive for our cars doesn't help either.

Wow wtf.. The prices you guys are calling sounds crazy.. I guess its good to live in nyc where there are bodyshops every other block.. The front looks like it just needs a headlight and fender. The rear just needs someone great with metal repair. In NYC that's a 1-3k job depending on the shop.

Depends on your standards...if you want a bondo monster with paint that doesn't match and isnt blended then sure you could have it done cheap. Kinda like going to mexico for a boob job or something though.... you get what you pay for.

Sucks to see but the damage isn't too bad. Just sucks that it's so spread out over the car. Let us know what estimates you get. I'm assuming at least 5K to have it done right.

Why in the world would anyone just have liability on a car that's more than 400 $ is insane. New or used prices have the biggest adjustment on price. Used headlight 2-4hundred , used fender 250? Get estimates on rear fender. Somebody that is very good with metal work could pull that mostly out. If it's not a show car than no big deal. If you put new rear fender on its still going to have filler

Again its about your standards. You don't have to consider your car a show car to want it repaired properly. Someone with a hammer could pound out the quarter panel, and then use body filler to fill in the remaining dents and ripples to make it smooth, but that is a sub-standard repair. Cutting corners like that will have long term consequences as well. Saying that filler will be used either way isn't really a true representation of the process.

If it were me, I would seriously be considering some type of wide body kit that would replace the front and rear fenders.

Something like the APR Evil R widebody http://www.aprperformance.com/index....d=66&Itemid=44

Going to be a shame to spend 3k+ just to get back to stock. Then comes the question of how much of the car you plan on having repainted. One oem side, and one resprayed side would make me sad.

Maybe find a clean shell and swap all your cars parts into it?

For me, the job would have to be perfect. No cutting corners just to make it look "ok." Paint work is expensive.

At 1900 there is no way that QP is being replaced. Thats a pound out and bondo slather job for sure. If you want a good shop, find out where the local porsche dealer sends their work.

Of course the QP isn't being replaced, it's not screwed beyond belief. It's got a crease in it that can be worked out just fine
