Voltex Type 5 1500mm GT Wing - How to spot a fake?

Hey Team,

I have an opportunity to purchase a Voltex Type 5 Wing from a local (Australia) seller.

I'm a bit sus on it though.

He's advised me that he does not have the original box, paper work or receipt for the item. Purchased brand new but has decided to go with an ARP GT 300 wing instead...odd?

So the question is, how do I spot if it's a fake upon inspection? besides overall quality - are There any specific marks the genuine ones have (like a sticker or branding/stamp/engraving?)

Any help/tips is much appreciated.

Don't quote me on it but I believe the real ones where the stand mounts to the wing that ''base'' is dry carbon. Again not 100% sure. I'd try asking on the Voltex show and shine as well. Good Luck

DagYo is correct. another easy way to spot is the screws. the authentic voltex wings have flat screws. if it's the 5v version, the screws that mount the side plates to the wing are flat, while the screws that mount the side plates to the risers aren't

do you have a pic by chance? I can spot a foltex wing from a mile away

Don't they mold the logo into the wing. Many jdm companies do that

I think they only started doing that very recently. the older wings aren't going to have them

Appreciate the replies guys.

I've requested for some pics as he's only used the standard brochure/online pics in his ad. Will provide once he replies back
