I am pretty sure I could have gone the 3582 on the 63 hotside and been able to touch the 700whp make also.
Yeah maybe but probably not much more. I'll probably see max 725-750 on my setup once I get dual pumps. I'm on a 3582 with .82. This turbo likes the 2.4 though.

I moved from a 6266 to a 6466

6266= 702@39psi E85

6466= 787whp@42psi

There is lots left in the 6466. We are running a bit less timing on the 6466 because its a street car and wanted to keep it fairly safe. Could prob grab about 50 more out of it woth a few more PSI and a bit more timing. Don't let the lag fool you, the car revs to 9500rpm so their is no drop in power between shifts.

Vband is way lighter and less of a headache in my opinion.

Would the 6466 be worth the price difference?

Everyone forgets about the Gen2 option.

The 6466 only came Gen2.

Also another thing people forget about is. Motor/cam size/compression.

If car A has a 2.0 10.5:1 motor and kelford 280 and car B has 2.0 10.5:1 motor on kelford 272 the DYNAMIC compression from one to to the other changes depending on if the cars are degreed into the cam card.

This is not including, gasket thickness, combustion chamber changes (difference in CC if its a built head with combustion work), deck height, and how much was shaved off the head, and how can anyone forget the tuner lol.

I think its funny when people go bigger, and the car always sits at 550-600hp lol. Why not go smaller.

A gen2 6266 will make enough power to go mid low 9s. Easy high 9s.

Yes...but from almost everyone's experience there's a very minimal loss in spool, if I recall correctly someone had a thread where they spooled the same....so the question is, why not go with the turbo with more potential if there's no downside?

I am having my motor being built as we speak by boostin performance. 2.0LR 9.5:1 kelford 272 cams. port match intake ets twin t4 vband gen 2 6266 kit. all supporting mods are there. I am pretty confident that it will put down 700hp on the dyno. tuned on E 85 and 93. When It is all done I will post the results.

It will. To buy a 6466 to make 650-700 is it worth it. Not even including all the parts that break with the power. There isn't many people on here that would use the full potential of even a 6266. Most people buy a 62mm turbo, make 650hp at 32-34psi, then switch turbos because it didn't make what they wanted. Never go to the track, or just want a number to brag about. Efficent setups are better then big setups.

I've seen 6266 make over 700 MD making power to 9,000rpm. This was in a v band kit on a 2.1L making 740hp MD @40psi.... You're going to want more though, so I would just get the 6466.

I have a 6266 jb t3 82ar on my 2.4L now, making 508hp/446tq at 28psi on pump 93.
Im lazy to put e85 in it and tune right now. My motor is fully built. Including fic 2150 injectors and BR double pumper for e85 ready.
But i want to make more power on pump so i just order a new 6466. It coming this thursday. Cant wait.

But to answer, with my jb turbo making that much hp on pumpgas. If u order a 6266bb turbo could be even better spool and will last longer than a jb turbo.
My tuner say i could hit 700hp easily with e85.

6466 2.3 stroker 550whp on a very mild tune on 93 with 1000cc injectors. spools at 4000 all day. so I'd say go big more to expand
