Arrow [Advice] Pre-purchase Inspection

So taking a 2006 Evo 9 GSR (97000Km) for inspection to do a full check before buying, car is completely stock and looks really clean (so much so, I’m a bit worried).

The garage is an evo/subaru specialist in the area. I requested an engine compression test during the pre-purchase inspection.

Is there anything else EvoM thinks I should be checking/doing? Engine leakdown test?

Side note - some guy at the workshop told me of horror stories, where people switch out engines, and just have the red mivec valve cover on the crap swapped engine. Does this seriously happen?

Would really appreciate some advice.

Link to the dealer website, or any pictures could also be helpful. Having a bunch of people who know these cars take a look might be able to point out something's you may not notice.
